So Just Who Exactly is "out of the mainstream"?

From a WaPo poll:

"Fifty-three percent of Americans said the war was not worth fighting, 57 percent said they disapprove of the president's handling of Iraq, and 70 percent said the number of U.S. casualties, including more than 1,500 deaths, is an unacceptable price. "

But WAIT, there's MORE. Bush's approval ratings on Iraq:

AP/Ipsos poll. 3/7-9. MoE 3.1%

Approve 45
Disapprove 53

Gallup. 2/25-27. MoE 3%

Approve 45
Disapprove 53

So if you objected to the war in the first place, you were "out of the mainstream," a Deaniac, hippie peacenik...but you were also, um, RIGHT.

And if you criticized how it was being conducted, why it was being conducted, when it was being conducted, and how the war was sold, you were a traitor, a "freedom-hater" but you were also, um, RIGHT.

I still can't believe these guys won.
