I agree with this article, particularly the quote you posted on your blog. It seems that the media enjoys using religious and political terms interchangeably, and this is both inappropriate and incorrect. "Conservative" doesn't mean Christian or Evangelical any more than "Liberal" means Atheist or Agnostic. Get the religion chatter out of the news and we may begin to see progress in accurate reporting.
